许世旭的华文诗歌创作在世界华文文学版图中具有独特价值,他一方面延续了韩国古典汉文文学断绝了近百年的精神血脉,另一方面作为一个纯粹的韩国人的非母语写作,具有不容忽视的文化交流意义。在审美趣味上,他将中国诗歌的古典意趣与现代汉诗的开放视野有机地熔于一炉,意象组合的典雅风格,体物入情、引情入意的诗境构造,弥散着浓郁的东方情怀。以"儒家后裔"自居的身份认同,使强烈的儒家情怀成为其诗学的核心旨趣。坚守以人为本的儒家美学,追求天人合一的生存状态,孝悌之德、仁义之道如同无形的精神之链,贯穿其整个创作生涯。

Xu Shixu insisted on writing Chinese poetry throughout his life. These poems have a unique value because the poet not only inherited the tradition of Chinese literature in Korea, but also promoted the cultural exchange between China and South Korea. In the aesthetic style, he combined the elegance of classical Chinese poetry with the flexibility of modem Chinese poetry. He thought of himself as a disciple of the Confucian school, and he was always a strenuous proponent of Confucian ethics.
