摘要
在公安视频监控的实战中,传统的高清数字视频编码方案及其在数据传输与存储方面均面临严峻的挑战,本中根据视频监控系统的应用需求入手,专门设计了一套兼容两种视频图像压缩标准的编码系统,通过比对视频压缩效率与图像画面质量的方式,兼顾存储与传输性能,选定不同编码格式下视频的帧率与压缩码率,从而在满足高质量实时监控与录像查看业务需求的同时,尽可能地节省网络与存储资源。文中所提出的方案在实际的视频监控系统中得以运用,获得了良好的效果。
In the actual video surveillance system in the public security area, traditional high definition digital video encoding, including the data transmission and storage, is now facing severe challenges. This paper provided an encoding system which is compatible with two different kinds of video encoding standard according to the application needs. By comparing the encoding eti3ciency and image quality, as well as the transmission performance, it chooses the frame rate and .encoding bitrate under different encoding format so that it will fulfill the high quality surveillance needs and save the transmission resources. The method provided by this paper is used in the actual surveillance system which is operating in good state.
