名转形语用现象的再解释

Reinterpretation of the Noun-as-Adjective Phenomenon

名转形用法由来已久,语法学界对该现象给予热切的关注并进行了比较多的探讨。其研究的重点集中在转形名词的语义特征上面。本文在相关研究的基础上,就该现象在现时语法系统中的性质地位,特别是转形名词的词义特征进行了新的描写分析,梳理出暗含于其中的三个层次:{固有属性[本质属性](类别属性)},认为"固有属性"才是转形后的语义表述重心和可能性根据。最后还就名转形现象的语用价值及积极意义进行了肯定性论证。

The usage of Nouns as Adjectives has a long history, but it has exhibited a sharp increase since the new era began,and has become a fashion of applied linguistics. The syntax sector has paid earnest attention to such a phenomenon,and carried on consid- erable investigation that mainly focuses on the semantic features of the Noun-as-Adjective. This paper,based on previous study,provides a new description and analysis of the nature and status of the Noun-as-Adjective phenomenon in current grammar systems,and particular- ly the semantic features of it. It subsequently sorts through the three levels implied by these features ： { inherent property [ natural property ] （ categorical property）/, where inherent property is considered to be the core of the semantic expression when Nouns are used as Adjectives,and the base of such usage. Further,the semantic significance of the Noun-as- Adjective phenomenon is demonstrated by this paper.
