Valve regulated sealed lead-acid batteries （hereinatter referred to as the room battery） is widely used. It is widely used in various sectors of the data center computer room. These room batteries are important components of computer room power supply system. They are the key power equipment in the eyes of the power supply maintenance staff. They are the priorities among priorities of room maintenance. In order to maintain and manage the room storage batteries, this article analyses the factors which impact the batteries life. Using the room battery on-line monitoring and maintenance system, monitor the real time state, diagnosis the batteries, ensure that the battery can be normal operated. The equilibrium maintenance mode greatly improved the battery life. And through the remote monitoring platform, the batteries are centralized managed, we carry out the ＂safety first, prevention first, comprehensive management＂ principle of safety in production, improve the level of maintenance, ease the growing tension in the personnel and the maintenance work pressure.
