Public Library's Role in Children's Reading Consciousness Cultivation

Reading consciousness plays an important role in children＇s reading ability cultivation. In order to improve children＇s reading ability, their reading consciousness could be cultivated first. This paper discusses the public library＇s responsibility,methods and ways of how to cultivate children＇s reading consciousness. In order to lead children to read more and good books, the paper also explores how to utilize the resource advantages of the public library collections for the public cultural services purposes.
