Human-Orientated Socialism with Chinese Characteristics: An Outline

中国特色社会主义人本思想,萌生于毛泽东,形成于邓小平,发展于江泽民,成熟于胡锦涛,完备于党的十八大,是几代领导集体的智慧结晶。其内涵彰显了人的主体价值,其体系则以追求自由平等、民主法治、公平正义为内在要求。它既继承超越了中国传统民本思想,又继承和发展了马克思主义人本思想;同时也是对我国基本国情和现代化建设规律的科学总结,有其坚实的实践基础和现实依据,体现了中国共产党围绕发展问题的艰辛探索。作为党的新的执政理念,必将对全面建成小康社会产生广泛而深远的影响。

Human-oriented thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics,as an achievement of collective efforts,was proposed by Mao Ze-dong,shaped by Deng Xiao-ping,developed by Jiang Ze-min and perfected by Hu Jin-tao.With freedom and equality,democracy and rule of law,and justice as its pursuit,it manifests human’s subjective values.It not only inherits and develops both Chinese traditional human-oriented thoughts and humanistic ideas of Marxism but also go beyond.Based on a solid foundation of practice and reality,it serves as a scientific summary of China’s basic national conditions and law of modernization,and as a strong evidence of painstaking exploration undertaken by Chinese Communist Party as well.As a new ruling concept,it will exert profound influences on building a well-off society in all-round way.
