The Matter of Language Violence in the Debate of New Literature

"暴力叙事"贯穿了中国现代文学发展的始终。现代文学发端的新、旧文学论争是一场充满"语言暴力"的文学论战,它受中国传统的"武侠文化"及日本"尚武"精神、俄苏社会主义革命学说等外来思想文化的影响,适应了中国社会发展的客观形势。论争所开启的斗争方式逐渐形成现代文学的"暴力美学"原则,对中国现代文学理论与创作产生了深远影响。

Violence narrating runs through all the development process of the contemporary literature of Chinese. The debate of new literature and old literature of the contemporary literature initiation is a controversy about language violence. The controver- sy is affected by the traditional Chinese martial arts culture, the Japanese martial spirit, the Russian socialist revolution theory and other foreign ideologies and it fits the objective situation of the Chinese social development. The struggling mode created by the controversy forms the violence aesthetics principle of the contemporary literature gradually and emerges a far-reaching influ- ence on theory and writing in the contemporary Chinese literature.
