The Effect of Acupuncture Anesthesia on the Immune Function

针灸在我国具有2500年的历史,春秋战国时期就有其应用记载。大量的临床研究证实针刺辅助麻醉能够降低恶心呕吐、改善术后镇痛、减少术中阿片类药物用量。围术期免疫功能的变化是手术创伤和麻醉共同作用的结果,以往研究大多仅重视手术而忽略了麻醉的影响。针刺辅助麻醉能够通过内源性阿片肽、细胞因子、自然杀伤细胞和T淋巴细胞等多种机制发挥其免疫功能调节作用,在围术期应用意义深远。

Acupuncture has a history of 2500 years in China. A large number of clinical studies confirm that acupuncture can reduce nausea and vomiting, improve postoperative analgesia, and reduce opioid con- sumption in surgery. The changing of immune function is the result of surgical trauma and anesthesia during perioperative period. The previous studies have mostly focused exclusively on surgery ignoring the effects of anesthesia. Acupuncture plays its immune regulatory role through endogenous opioid peptides, cytoklnes, NK cells and T lymphocytes and other mechanisms ,which is of far reaching significance in the perioperative ap- plication.
