Research Review on Early Official Script on Bamboo and Silk

战国至秦汉简帛的大量出土使我们看到了早期隶书的面貌。早期隶书是指从战国晚期至西汉早期的隶书,简帛早期隶书处于隶变时期,因此,早期隶书的研究有助于加深我们对汉字演变的认识。

A large number of unearthed bamboo and silk in the Warring States period and the Qin and Han Dynasties demystifies the early official script. The early official script is the one from the late Warring States period to the early Western Han Dynasty. The early official script on bamboo and silk is in the period of evolving from seal character to official script called Libian. Therefore, the research of the early official script is helpful for a better understanding of the evolution of Chinese characters.
