Discussion on Taiji Softball of Non-Derivatives of Taijiquan Exercise

在太极柔力球运动起源问题上,众多学者都把太极柔力球项目与太极拳运动相提并论,认为太极柔力球运动是"汲取了太极拳精华的拳理和功力之精髓",或是"把太极拳的拳理和网球、羽毛球等运动项目的技术精华融为一体"而形成的。为正确、务实地引导太极柔力球运动发展方向,通过对太极柔力球运动的起源、核心思想、运动特征和运动形式等方面的分析与研究,努力探求其文化根源,辨析太极柔力球与太极拳运动、网球和羽毛球运动的区别,还原太极柔力球运动起源的真实面貌,纠正不合实际的偏见言论。为此,应该清楚地认识到,"太极"不是某项运动的专有名词,它是宇宙万物普遍运动发展变化的法则,太极柔力球和太极拳是"太极"法则下的2个事物,是2种不同的运动形式,不能仅依据起源时间的早晚,囿于太极拳运动理念和其他球类运动概念来决定2项目的关系。

the origin of Taiji softball remains many disputes among researchers, and regards it as one kind of Taijiquan exercise,melts the skill of tennis and badminton into the Taijiquan exercise. In order to cor- rectly guide the development direction of Taiji softball, this paper makes analysis on origin, core thought, exercise characteristics and pattern, tries to explore the culture root, discusses the difference among Taiji softball,tennis and badminton, makes clear on the true fact of Taiji softball origin, and correct the irra- tional claim. Therefore,we clearly think that Taiji is not a proper noun of sports event,and it is the gener- al pattern of universal life movement and development. Taiji softball and Taijiquan exercise is two kinds of thing under the rule of Taiji, and two kinds of different exercise pattern. The relation between Taiji soft- ball and Taijiquan exercise can not be decided by Taijiquan exercise and other ball games concept based on the late and early of origin.
