The Analysis on "Kidult" Phenomenon among Contemporary Youth——Studied in Psychological and Sociological Views

Kidult现象是当今社会流行的青年亚文化,它表现为成年青年人回归幼稚和追求怀旧,试图以此应对复杂的成人社会。这种现象的产生具有复杂的原因,从心理学的角度可以解读为童年潜意识的唤醒,从社会学的角度可以理解为缓解成人社会的压力和当今教育的缺失。为了使kidult文化现象趋利避害,必须在教育层面转变教育理念和增加教育内容。

Nowadays, the ＂kiduh＂ phenomenon is a subculture among the youth. The phenomenon embodies young adults＇ regressing of childishness and their popular pursuit of nostalgia, by which the adults want to deal with the complex adult society. The phenomenon is caused by complicated reasons. Studied in psychological view, it can be explained as the awakening of sub-consciousness in childhood; while in sociological view, it can be understood as the relief of the pressure from adult society and the disadvantages of current education. We should make the phenomenon avoid disadvantages and develop with advantages by changing our education ideas and increasing education contents.
