《文子》与《淮南子》关系再认识——以《文子》古文书写系统为中心

A Renewed Study on Relationship between Wen Zi and Huai Nan Zi

今本《文子》某些文字仍保留着古文写法,如壄、是、眎等,而同样写法的字在《淮南子》中,则未曾见到。即便是《文子》误作的"害众"二字,仍有可能是后人不识古文"周鼎"的写法转写致误。同时,汉人识读、转写古文的能力极为薄弱,不太可能仍然用古文创作或书写《文子》,所以今本《文子》一书当在秦始皇统一文字之前已经出现。

Abstract： Some characters in the modern edition of Wen Zi [文子], such as ＂壄＂, ＂[无灬]＂ and ＂眎＂, have retained classical （pre-Qin） writing style, while characters written in the same classical style are not found in HuaiNan Zi [淮南子]. In Wen Zi, the wrong transcription ＂害众＂ is probably a mistake by later generations who did not know the classical script of ＂周鼎＂. People in the Han dynasty were not skillful enough to read and transcribe ancient scripts and thus were not likely being able to create Wen Zi in classical writing style. Therefore, the text of Wen Zi was probably written before Qin Shihuang standardized writing systems.
