On the Endorsement of Values in the Public Sphere

中国现代化进程中面临的新的时代背景和复杂的社会条件,使中国的价值论研究领域出现了许多新情况、新问题,特别是面对多元化的社会发展潮流,人们在一系列问题上都会产生不同的认识,甚至形成相互对立的观点。然而,全球化又给我们带来了一个价值认同主体的共生时代,使得人们极有可能会形成共同认识。随着构建社会主义和谐社会历史进程的推进,中国公共领域也获得了空前发展和延伸,对公共领域中价值认同的研究必将成为中国学者开展价值问题研究以推动价值理论发展的一个重要视角。

With the coming of new era and complex social conditions during the modernization of China, many new circumstances and problems appear in the field of value theory research. Facing the plurality of the trend of social develop- ment, people will have different understandings in many questions, and may form conflicting views. However, globalization also brings us a time in which people can form common understandings. Along with the construction of socialist harmo- nious society, the public sphere has also obtained unprecedented development and extension. The study of the endorse- ment of the value in the public sphere will become an important part studied by scholars. It will also promote the develop- ment of the value theory.
