Analysis of TD-MBMS and CMMB

手机电视主要通过移动通信或数字广播网以点对多点的传输方式为用户终端提供多媒体视频服务。在三网融合的背景下,国内手机电视业务主要基于以下两种标准,即中国电信推出的TD-MBMS标准和国家广电总局自主研发的CMMB标准。简要地分析了两者的系统架构及特点,并对两者的技术优势等作了简单比较。最后,针对TD-MBMS和CMMB融合网络的设计提出了初步的方法。

The Mobile TV refers to the mobile interactive broadcast services to portable handheld devices. In the context of tripe play services, there are mainly two kinds of promising mobile TV standards in China, namely the TD-MBMS standard promoted by China telecom and the CMMB standard promoted by the SARFT.A brief analysis of the system architectures and features of the two standards was given. Then, a comparison between the technical advantages and drawbacks of the two standards was presented. Finally, a preliminary＂ idea of the converged networks between TD-MBMS and CMMB was given.
