Basis on experiments of wastewater treatment in comparison carring biofilm with suspended activated sludge in airlift loop reactor,this paper points out:activated sludge can help removal of organic matter and settlement of mixed liquid;carrier biofilm increases MLSS,improves efficiency of treatment and plays important role in nitrification.
