材料视角的空间模糊性研究

Study on Spatial Ambiguity in the Material’s Perspective

材料,作为构成空间的物质界面,直接主导着身体对空间的感知。材料本体的透明程度,材料表面的特殊性质以及某些材料的可变性常常会对人的感知能力造成迷惑,进而影响身体对空间要素的判断,从而产生空间的模糊性。该文从探究材料的建造特性等传统视角转向关注材料的知觉属性,将其和空间感受联系起来。通过解读几个运用玻璃、水、布、镜面反射材料、雾气等材料形成模糊空间的案例,从材料的透视属性和表面属性两个方面探讨材料对人的整体性知觉影响,在材料中融入人的身体体验,进而探寻材料与空间模糊性的关系。

As the physical interface which forms the space, material plays a vital role in influencing the spatial perception of the body. The transparency of material, special character of its surface and the variability of some particular material can confuse people＇s perception,disturbing the judgement for space elements.Therefore the ambiguity of space comes into being.This paper hopes to make the focus to be shifted from material＇s structural property to its perceptional property and consequently establishes a perceptual relationship between material and space. Through reading some cases with ambiguous space using glass, water, cloth and specular reflection material, this paper investigates the relationship between materialand the ambiguity of space based on two aspects： transparency and surface property of material, emphasizing the body＇s integrative and perceptive experience from material.
