我国外语教育政策研究的概况与前瞻——基于中国期刊全文数据库的文献计量分析(1993-2012)

Research on Foreign Language Education Policies in China: A Bibliometric Analysis of Studies Published in Academic Journals (1993-2012)

外语教育政策近年来成为我国学界的热点研究领域。通过检索中国知网期刊论文并进行文献计量分析发现:我国外语教育政策研究已走过20年历程,大致可分为自发阶段(1993-2004)、自觉阶段(2005-2007)和热点阶段(2008-2012);以"核心区"与"相关区"期刊队伍、主要学者队伍及主要学术中心为基点的学术圈已基本形成;研究主题、方法与视角均已呈现多元局面。但是,我国外语教育政策研究存在学术圈比较稚嫩、不同主题研究力度差异很大、定量研究与描述性研究相对不足、研究视角不够开阔等问题。学界须做出更大努力以推进我国外语教育政策研究走向成熟。

Recently,foreign language education policy(FLEP) has become a hot research area in China.Through a bibliometric analysis of relevant studies published in academic journals included in CNKI database,the present paper found that Chinese researchers have been intrigued by FLEP during the past 20 years,which could be roughly divided into 3 periods,i.e.the budding period(19932004),fast growing period(2005-2007) and booming period(2008-2012).During that time,a FLEP academic circle has taken shape,with those core journals,important scholars,leading research centers serving as the group’s backbone.What’s more,the research topics,methodology,and perspectives of FLEP studies in China have also diversified greatly.Nevertheless,there are still some problems with our research,such as,disproportionate attention given to different topics,relatively small number of quantitative and descriptive studies,as well as the lack of original ideas and influential scholars.In a word,there is still a long way to go and we should work even harder to promote FLEP research in China.
