摘要
考查了40名英语专业学生两次汉英口译任务的笔记在数量、形式和语言方面的特征,分析了笔记特征与口译质量的相关性。在笔记数量方面,两次笔记无显著差异,笔记数量与口译成绩无显著相关性。在笔记形式方面,学生较多使用完整中文词及英文缩写,英文完整词和缩写的使用均与成绩呈显著正相关,单字的使用均与成绩呈显著负相关,其他形式与成绩无显著相关性。在笔记语言方面,两次笔记的源语数量无显著差异,与成绩无显著相关性;目的语数量差异显著,均与成绩呈显著正相关。
This paper aims to explore the relationship between the features of note-taking and interpreting quality after an investigation of the quantity, form and language of the notes from 40 college English majors in two Chinese-English interpreting tasks. As regards the quantity, there is no significant difference between the notes taken in both tasks, and there is no significant correlation between the quantity of notes and interpreting quality. As regards the form, students use more complete Chinese words and English abbreviations. There is a significant positive correlation between the complete English words and abbreviations and interpreting quality, while there is a significant negative correlation between the separate Chinese words and interpreting quality. As regards the language, there is no significant difference between the quantity of notes in the source language in both tasks and no significant correlation with interpreting quality, while there is significant difference in the target language and significant positive correlation with interpreting quality.
