Taking the maintenance and reconstruction project of the two-way curved arch bridge at Sanjiangkou as the background, the paper analyzes the reasons for the diseases on the two-way curved arch bridge according to the site investigation and inspection, introduces the factual main- tenance and reconstruction measures in detail, and proves by the loading test and inspection after the calculation and factual consolidation that the adopted maintenance and reconstruction measures can improve the loading capacity of the former bridge and reach the expectation.
