Analyses on the Regional Environmental Quality and a Study on Environmental Policies in SEA Practice——A Case of Three Cities in Eastern Guangdong Province of Economic Zone on the Western Side of Taiwan Straits

战略环境影响评价（SEA）是实现区域可持续发展的重要手段,环境现状及演变趋势分析是深入开展战略环评的基础环节,对于保证战略环评结果的科学性具有重要意义。基于海西区域重点产业战略环评需求,选择海西区粤东3市为研究范围,通过资料数据收集及分析,开展大气及地表水环境现状及趋势分析,并提出相关建议措施,以期为海西区战略环评的整体开展提供数据支撑。

Strategic environmental assessment （SEA） is an important means of achieving sustainable development, whilst analyses of the environmental situation and evolutionary trends are bases in conducting the SEA in depth. In view of requirements of an SEA for priority industries in Economic Zone on the Western Side of Taiwan Straits, three cities in eastern Guangdong Province have been chosen as the case study region. Through the collection of data and information, analyses were carried out on the environmental situation of air and water whilst related measures were proposed in order to provide a data support for conducting an overall SEA for Economic Zone on the Western Side of Taiwan Straits.
