A new kind of dispersed anchor rope （compound dispersed anchor rope） and its experimental investigation are introduced in this article. According to the experimental results,the compound dispersed anchor rope can overcome various shortcomings of traditional anchor rope and gain greater bearing capacity. The compound dispersed anchor rope can be widely used because of its simple construction technology and high cost performance.
