Intravenous leiomyomatosis of the uterus: Report of 2 cases with literature review

目的:探讨子宫静脉内平滑肌瘤病(IVL)的临床表现和诊治要点。方法:对2例确诊IVL患者的临床资料进行回顾分析,并对相关文献进行复习。结果:2例IVL患者临床表现与子宫肌瘤的临床表现相同,术前无特异性诊断方法,病理检查是诊断该病的依据。结论:IVL无特异性临床表现,术前不易诊断,应注重术中探查及病理检查。

Objective ： To investigate the clinical behavior of intravenous leiomyomatosis of the uterus （IVL） and diagnostic protocols for this le- sion. Methods ： The clinical and pathological data in 2 cases of IVL were retrospectively examined with reviewing the related literatures. Results： The clinical manifestation for the two cases of IVL was identical to that of uterine fibroids. There was no specific preoperative diagnosis, and confir- mation of it should rely on pathological examination. Conclusion： IVL shows no specific clinical properties, thus making difficult preoperative diagnosis, for which intraoperative exploration and pathological examination are needed.
