摘要
《废都》是一部备受争议而又命运坎坷的小说。本文从三个层面对它予以解读:是转型期及经济体制改革与政治体制改革的不平衡造成了"废都"景观,而作者是以田园牧歌的美学理想来观照"废都"的;沉沦中的庄之蝶想用"性"来拯救自己,这一救赎也许并非毫无效果,但终究只是徒劳,因为"性"也在沉沦中,沉沦者不能充当拯救者;庄之蝶之"蝶"可能有追花狂蝶之意,一定更有"庄生梦蝶"之意,写出了庄之蝶精神废墟的"世纪末情绪",使《废都》具有很高的文学价值和文学史意义。
The Discarded City （Feidu） is a highly controversial novel of twisted life course. This paper makes an interpretation of the novel from three aspects： the social transformation and the unbalance between economic system reform and political systme reform result in this view of the Discarded City. The author describes it from the pastoral perspective of aesthetic ideal. In despair, Zhuang Zhidie wants to save himself through ＂disposition,＂ which is not all in vain; the pure and simple ＂disposition,＂ however, itself is down and cannot be the saviour; the Die in Zhuang Zhidie means the crazy butterfly chasing flowers, implying ＂Zhuang dreams to butterfly. ＂ The description of the last phase feelings in Zhuang spiritual ruin brings high literary value and great significance in literature histroy to the Discarded City.
