A guest in a talk show is the main producer of information as well as a responder and collaborator. The guest plays a core role in the process of conversation. But the most talk shows neglect the importance of guests. Guest selection is often discretional, and not based on specific standards. This article tries from the view of the importance of guests to explore a general selection standard for talk show guests.
