榆次常家之书院藏帖简论

On Carved Tablets Stored in the Chang Family Academy at Chewang Village of Yuci Prefecture

在山西商贾家族中形成、发展的晋商文化,对当时的社会氛围、文化状态产生了巨大的影响。在晋商家族文化中,榆次常家具有典型性,表现出鲜明的商业理念和文化特色。常家是以"儒贾传家"的,常家存留下来的多种文字资料和实物,特别是常家书院的多种书法刻帖极具文学、艺术魅力,是晋商文化的体现。

For hundreds of years in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Shanxi merchants made an indelible contri- bution to promoting China＇s feudal economic, social and cultural development, and especially Shanxi merchants＇ culture formed and developed in merchants＇ families of Shanxi--an important part of traditional Chinese culture-- has exerted a great influence on the then social milieu and cultural state. In many family cultures of Shanxi mer- chants, the Changs in Chewang Village of Yuci Prefecture is a typical representative with a distinctive business phi- losophy and cultural characteristics. The Changs managed and developed its business in line with the doctrine of Confucianism, as is evident in numerous extant literatures and data, such as its genealogy, writings, biography, pictures, courtyard, epitaphs, and carved tablets, etc. What is more, a variety of carved calligraphy tablets stored in the Chang Family Academy, which are of much literary and artistic charm, are the core of the cultural value of the Shanxi merchants.
