The dynamic capability theory which arose at the end of the nineties has become the newest hotspot in the strategic management theory research area. It marks the cognition about source of firm competitive advantage has entered a new stage. From the initial industry view to current dynamic capability view, as the change of the environment, researchers have used different paradigms and perspectives to pursue the source of firm competitive advantage. This artiele describe the mainstream viewpoint about the souree of eompetitive advantage in sequence of each time whieh based on the study of previous relevant research and then expound currently popular dynamic capability theory at length, and at the end this article comment on the research problem and the future development briefly.
