英语作文中连接词误用造成的连贯性缺失

The Coherent Deficiency Caused by Conjunction Errors in English writings

连接词是语篇衔接的手段之一。根据Halliday关于语篇衔接和连贯理论,本文用非英语专业研究生43篇英语作文作语料,统计分析非英语专业研究生英语作文中连接词的误用情况。发现语篇在连接词的使用方面存在着一些问题,由此造成文章连贯性缺失。作者建议在英语写作训练中应加强此类指导训练。

Conjunction is one of the cohesive devices in discourse construction. This article aims at ex- ploring the errors of conjunction in the 43 English writings of non--English major graduate students ac- cording to Halliday＇s cohesion theory. The author finds out that there are problems in the use of con- juncts, which causes deficiency of coherence in discourse. The author points out that related instructions should be given in English writing classes.
