There are varied versions of the English translation of the Chinese classical poem Turtles Live long,composed by Cao Cao, a famous poet and King of Wei in the Three Kingdoms era. Professor Zhao Yanchun＇s version, actually a trinity of imitation, consistency and variability, has a theoretical awareness con-cerning the translation of Chinese poetry into English.
