The Cause Research of the Cultural Revolution——from the Perspective of Institutional Lacking of New Institutional Economics

文化大革命是我们社会主义进程中的一个重大事件,值得永久性地反思。现有的研究局限于政治学的视角,未能深刻揭示文化大革命的本质。新制度经济学的兴起也为文化大革命的深入研究提供了平台。基于新制度经济理论的视角,制度缺失是文化大革命的起因。内部制度缺失、外部制度缺失和代理人权威悬空是导致文化大革命的直接动因。

The Cultural Revolution is a major event in the process of our socialism construction, and is worthy of re- flection permanently. The existing research is limited to the perspective of political science, not profoundly revea- ling the nature of the Cultural Revolution. The rise of the new institutional economics also provides a platform for in - depth study of the Cultural Revolution. Based on the perspective of new institutional theory, the institution flaw is the cause of the Cultural Revolution. The internal institution flaw, external institution flaw and agents authority vacant are the direct causes which incurs the Cultural Revolution.
