摘要
图像的边缘是物体轮廓的准确描述,是图像最基本也是最重要的特征之一。彩色图像的边缘检测有着广泛的应用。由于灰度图像的检测方法不能完全体现彩色图像包含的彩色信息。该文直接针对彩色图像,提出了一种新的基于YUV色彩空间的边缘检测算法。新方法通过增强亮度和色度差异,并采用改进的边缘算子得到边缘梯度,最后使用平均阈值处理和细化处理技术得到较精确的边缘。实例表明了该方法提取边缘的有效性。
The edge of the image is an accurate description of the object contour,and it is one of the most fundamental and important features in image.Color edge detection has been widely applied.The color information contained in color images cannot be fully reflected in the edge detection method for gray-scale images.For directly dealing with color images,this paper proposes a new edge detection method based on the YUV color space.It enhances the luminance and chrominance difference,adopts an improved edge operator,and finally utilizes both the average threshold processing technique and the thinning processing technique to get the resulting edges.Examples illustrate the effectiveness of the new method.
