The poverty is only one of the revolutionary direct powers.The leadership who conducts the revolutionary mobilization in Northeast Jiangxi mainly consists of intellectuals.The success shows that the revolutionary initiation in the rural areas depends on a number of intellectuals,who are full of revolutionary ideal,and have received the advanced education,daring to undertake social responsibility.They build the bridge of the Chinese revolution-the combination of intellectuals with peasants.By virtue of the gradually maturing skill to unit with peasants,the sensitivity to capture opportunities and efficient organizing ability,they succeed in achieving strategic shift of turning the revolution to the rural areas.An investigation taking the revolutionary base areas of northeast Jiangxi as the center is conductive to further understanding the function of the revolutionary intellectuals in the initiation of rural revolution.
