陈宝箴学术思想述评

A Commentary on CHEN Baozhen's Academic Thought

陈宝箴是近代赣籍著名政治家,维新大吏。在当时,他的学术思想无疑代表了积极变革而又持稳健主张的士人阶层。其学术思想散见于诸多奏折、书信、讲义中,而体现在事功上。他治学宗张载、朱熹,兼治陈亮、叶适、王阳明、王夫之、魏禧。主张会通朱子之学与阳明之学。由训诂以求义理;义理为体,经济为用,必须明体致用,知时达变;提倡实学,开发民智,以学术推动政治的变革。

CHEN Baozhen is a famous politician and a principal officialdom of the reformists of modern Jiangxi.At that time,his academic thought undoubtedly represented the gentry,who advocated positive and robust transformation.His academic thought appeared in many memorials,letters,notes,and was reflected in his record of achievements.His scholarly research followed ZHANG Zai,ZHU Xi,moreover,and CHEN Liang,YE Shi,WANG Yangming,WANG Fuzhi,WEI Xi.He advocated integrating ZHU Xi and WANG Yangming＇s theory,proceeding from exegesis to moral,as the fundamental structure and economics for practical use.He thought the fundamental structure must be for the purpose of application,and keeping pace with the times.He also advocated practical learning and the development of the people＇s wisdom,in order to promote the reform of political science.
