On Development of American Eco-Literature from A Philosophical Perspective

"自然文学"与"生态文学",这两个概念虽然文字表述不同却反映相同主题,实际是属于同一范畴的同一概念。每一种文学形式的出现皆有其特定历史渊源且与社会历史发展紧密联系。生态文学(或自然文学)的发展体现的是人的全面发展,它引领着人类自觉走进"自由王国"。

This paper begins with the analysis of the same theme of natural literature and eco-literature, indicating that the two concepts are the same in essence though different in expressions. From a historical point of view, every literary form has its typical historical origin and inevitably associates itself with the development of social history, and naturalism literature presented its historical limitations at that time. From a philosophical perspective, eco-literature （or natural literature ） embodies Man＇s all-round development thoughts, leading human beings into the realm of freedom.
