This article makes a statistical analysis on quantity, applicants and classification of the patents in the field of wayside equipment technology of China＇s railway signal control system. Studies show that： in recent years, the quantity of patent application in this field increases rapidly in China, and railway enterprises are the main research units, and the system platform, associated control module and communication technology for wayside equipment of high-speed railway train control system are main research direction.
