摘要
新课程标准指出在英语教学中应该注重培养学生的跨文化交际能力。本文主要是关于跨文化交际与外语教学关系的讨论。众所周知,语言是文化的载体,中国传统文化与西方文化存在很大的差别,而对于中国的高中生来说,他们的跨文化意识还比较薄弱。本文首先探讨了当前中学生跨文化交际形势并找出了跨文化交际能力低下的原因并做了相应的分析,最后提出了解决办法,希望可以提高高中生学习以及使用外语的能力。
The New English Curriculum Standards points out that developing students' intercultural communicative competence should be paid more attention to in Enghsh teaching and learning. This paper attempts to demonstrate the relationship between intercultural com- munication and English language teaching in senior middle schools. As is known to us, language is the mirror of culture. There exist many big huge differences between Chinese tradition and western culture, for the students in senior middle schools, but they usually ignore them and put them aside. It is the main goal of the paper to analyze the current situation of the intercultural communicative competence in se- nior middle schools, and find out the reasons why the students have low intercultural communicative competence. Finally the paper also offers some approaches to develop students' intercultural communicative competence, hoping to provide some related information which can enhance their ability to learn and use a foreign language.
