摘要
美籍华人剧作家黄哲伦的《蝴蝶君》以一位法国外交官伽里玛与一位中国京剧演员宋丽玲的故事展开。本文尝试从对东方主义的颠覆角度来探讨在《蝴蝶君》中主人公伽里玛和宋丽玲谁才是真正的蝴蝶夫人,以此来证明柔弱的并不一定只属于东方,从而颠覆东方主义中的东西方权利关系。
Chinese-American playwright David Henry Hwang's M. Butterfly develops with a story between a French diplomat Gullimard and a Chinese Peking Opera actress Song Liling. The author of this paper will try to explore that who is the real Madame Butterfly belween the characters Gallimard and Song Liling from the prospective of the subversion of Orientalism, which attempts to prove that weakness does not necessarily belong to the Orient, thus subverting the power relation between the Orient and the Occident in Orientalism.
