大学英语和高中英语的教学和学习存在很大的差异,加之大学新生缺乏必要的自主学习能力,他们开始学习大学英语时往往感到收效甚微。本文分析了大学新生英语自主学习的必要性,并从培养大学新生自主学习的意识等三个方面探析了大学新生英语自主学习能力培养的策略和途径。

There is great difference between college English and high school English teaching and learning, and college freshmen lack necessary autonomous learning ability. Therefore, college freshmen tend to feel little effective in learning college English at the beginning. The paper analyzes the necessity of autonomous learning ability and explores developing its strategies and approaches from three aspects such as developing their conscious autonomy aod so on.
