After 1979, Ding Ling tried to have herself righted from the historical issue concerned, but she encountered strong resistance from the core of literary leadership system headed by Zhou Yang. In 1984, with the release of The Notice on the Restoration of the Reputation of Comrade Ding Ling by the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, Ding Ling was thoroughly righted from her historical issue. To that end, Ding Ling had made great efforts, which had exerted much impact on her image ＂in her later years＂.
