Changes of platelet parameters in children with viral encephalitis

目的探讨血小板计数（PLT）、平均血小板体积（MPV）、血小板分布宽度（PDW）和大血小板比例（P—LCR）在儿童病毒性脑炎（简称病脑）中的动态变化及其临床意义。方法分别检测28例病脑急性期和恢复期患儿（病脑组）以及30例健康儿童（对照组）的PLT、MPV、PDW和P—LCR，并进行比较分析。结果病脑急性期MPV、PDW、P—LCR水平高于病脑恢复期和对照组（P〈0．01）；病脑恢复期MPV、PDW、P—LCR水平与对照组差异无统计学意义（P〉0．05）；PLT在病脑急性期、恢复期及对照组间差异均无统计学意义（P〉0．05）。结论血小板参数的检测有助于儿童病脑的病情评估和疗效监测。

Objective To explore the clinical value of platelet parameters including platelet count （PLT）, mean platelet volume （MPV）, platelet distribution width （PDV？） and platelet -large cell ratio （P- LCR） in children with vi- ral encephalitis. Methods PLT, PDV（, MPV and P - LCR were detected in 28 children with viral encephalitis in acute stage and recovery stage （ viral encephalitis group） and 30 healthy children （ control group）. Results MPV, PDW and P - LCR were significantly higher in the acute stage of viral encephalitis than in the recovery stage and healthy controls （P 〈 0.01 ）. There were no significant differences for MPV, PDW and P- LCR between recovery stage of viral encepha- litis and control group （ P 〉 0.05 ）. PLT showed no significant difference among the acute and recovery phase of viral en- cephalitis and control group （ P 〉 0.05 ）. Conclusion The detection of platelet parameters is helpful in assessing the se- verity of disease and evaluating the efficacy of treatment for viral encephalitis in children.
