"塞宴四事"是清代初期诞生的满族与蒙古族大型文体联谊盛会,是历史上著名的木兰秋狝大典重要组成部分,包括诈马、什榜、布库、教駣等内容。其历史价值:是古代满族、蒙古族体育文化交流的活化石;是清政府绥蒙安藩、巩固北部边疆的文化纽带;是我国封建社会"体育搭台,政治唱戏"的文化先驱。它对于当今加强中华各民族团结,构建和谐社会必将有所启示和帮助。

Four Things in Frontier Feast refers to the important occasion with sports between Manchues and Mongoli- ans during the early time of Qing Dynasty, which, as one part of the famous historical Mulan Autumn Hunting Cere- mony, includes horse racing, Shi Bang, Buku（Wrestling） and horse training, and so on. Its historical value is that it was the important evidence of sports and education communication between Manchues and Mongolians, the cultural bond of Qing government placating the Mongolian nobles and strengthening the northern frontier, and the cultural pio- neer of performing the political purpose by means of the sport events in Chinese feudal society. It is enlightening and helpful to the contemporary development between Chinese ethic groups and the construction of harmonious society.
