Chinese National Reading and the Library Construction

介绍了现阶段我国国民阅读的状况,目前我国国民传统的纸质阅读状况不甚理想,国民整体的阅读生活有待提高。同时阐述了国民阅读对读者个人的成长发展和国家民族兴旺、发展具有重要的意义。指出了图书馆建设与提高国民阅读生活质量之间具有相互促进的关系,并就提高国民阅读生活质量提出了笔者的建议。

This article introduces the present status of our country national reading that traditional paper reading is unsatisfactory and the whole nation＇ s reading should be advanced. At the same time, it expounds national reading has great significance to the development of individual and the whole nation. It points out there is mutual promotion relation- ship between library construction and improving nation＇ s reading quality, and makes some suggestions to improve na- tion＇ s reading quality.
