The experimental study on factors that influence the quality of MMA (methyl methacrylate) heat curing

目的 探讨影响义齿塑料基托成型质量的原因。方法 对甲基丙烯酸甲酯塑料成型过程中的某些步骤进行实验分析。结果 试件抗冲击强度的大小与填塞期的选择有关 ;试件厚度变化与装盒石膏凝固时间长短有关。结论 本实验为改进义齿塑料基托热聚成型中存在的问题 ,提供了依据。

Objective To investigate the factors that have effects on the quality of MMA denture base forming.Methods Some steps in the forming process of MMA denture base were analysed in experiment. Results The impact strength had relations with the packing time of acrylic; the setting time of investing gypsum in flask influenced the thickness variability of the specimens. Conclusion This study offers foundations for improving the technique of MMA denture base heat curing and forming.
