Teacher′s professional development is essential to English teaching reform in higher vocational and technological colleges.Community of practice presents a new way for professional development of English teachers in higher vocational and technical colleges.This paper introduces the process of creation and practice of the community of practice of English teachers in a higher vocational and technical college.And it points out that teacher community of practice is an effective way to teacher professional development.
