Analysis of the Global Situation of Tea Production and Consumption in 2011

本文基于联合国粮农组织政府间茶叶小组和国际茶叶委员会的数据,系统地分析了2011年全球茶叶产销发展形势,并对未来全球茶叶市场的发展趋势进行预测分析。产大于销的现象要引起格外的重视,重点是要扩大茶叶的消费需求,在茶叶潜在的目标市场保持增长的同时,要认识到食品安全和质量标准的重要性。

Based on FAO Intergovernment Tea Group and the International Tea Committee＇s （ITC） data, this paper paid more attention to the overview of the global tea production and consumption situation in 2011, and to forecast the global tea development in future. In general, cautions should be taken seriously on the supply over demand in tea, and more efforts should be done on expanding demand. Furthermore, the importance of food safety and quality standards should be realized and focused as the potential growth of tea targeting market.
