摘要
从开设专门用途英语选修课的必要性入手,阐述了基础英语与专门用途英语之间的关系,探讨了解决高职院校英语教学存在的问题,并从课程设置、教材选择等多方面分析了开设专门用途英语课、培养"复合型"专业人才的注意事项。
After discussing the necessity of setting up ESP as the selective course, it analyzes the relation- ship between Basic English and ESP. Referring to cuTriculum provision, material selection, the paper elab- orates how to cultivate multi-disciplinary English talents through teaching ESP effectively.
