Relationship between Medical Students' Sense of Life Menning and Depression

目的了解医学生生命意义感和抑郁情绪的状况,考察其生命意义感与抑郁情绪的关系。方法运用生命意义感量表和抑郁自评量表对316名医学生进行施测并评测结果。结果①医学生生命意义感状况属于偏下水平(M=94.62);②医学生抑郁情绪状况属于中等水平(M=0.43);③医学生生命意义感和抑郁情绪呈显著负相关(R=-0.465,P<0.01),抑郁中21.6%的变异可以被生命意义感解释。结论医学生生命意义感和抑郁情绪关系密切。

Objective To understand condition of medical students＇ sense of lire meaning and depression, and to explore the rela- tionship between their sense of life meaning and depression. Methods 316 university students were measured with Purpose In Life（PIL） and SDS. Results ①The eonditinn of medical students＇ sense of life meaning is in lower level（M = 94.62）; ②The condition of medical students＇ depression is in a middle-level （M = 0.43）; ③The sense of life meaning and depression have a significant negative eorrela- tion（R = - 0.465, P 〈 O.01）,twenty-one point six percent of the variation in depression can be explained by the sense of life meaning. Conclusion： Medical students＇ sense of liie meaning is closely related to depression.
