红色经典歌曲对当代大学生而言不仅具有如陶冶情操、美感培育等作用,还有一个最特殊、最重要的作用——思想政治教育作用。它充分利用鲜明的节奏、优美的旋律来表情达意,因而能直接触动大学生的情感中枢,震撼他们的心灵,对他们的情感世界、思想境界、道德观念产生巨大的影响和渗透。它以爱国主义教育为中心展开,教育人们树立远大理想、弘扬民族精神等,从多种角度帮助当代大学生形成高尚的道德品质;提升他们的思想境界;陶冶他们的爱国情操;净化他们的心灵。

As for college students, red songs can not only do good to cultivating one＇s mind and aesthetic sensibility as the normal songs ean do, but also improve the ideogieal and political work. Red songs are formed during the revolution of struggling for national indepemtence, people＇s liberation and our nation＇s prosperity by the Chinese Communist Party. These songs show our spirit of struggling, saerificing and solidarity. They are the inherition and sublimation of patriotism, conviction and nationalism. Red songs can motivate our students to gain these above spirits and improve ourselves.
