On the Influence of Royal Court on the Rising and Development of Secular Music in the Middle Ages of Europe

世俗音乐与教会音乐同是欧洲中世纪文化的重要组成部分,它在基督教会的排斥、打压下之所以兴起和不断发展很大程度上应归功于宫廷。但是,宫廷在给中世纪世俗音乐打上自己印记的同时,也决定了它带有很大局限性,随着社会经济的发展它必然要为一种新的音乐形态所代替。

Both the secular music and ctuach music are important compenent parts of Europe culfure in the Middle Ages, and the ris- ing and continuous development of the secular music is owed to the Royal Court to great degree despite of the repulsian and suppres- sion of Clu＇istinanity. But when the Royal Cotn＇t left marks on the seeular music, it synctronously hnposed linfitatiotrs on the ＇latter so that new forms of music will take the place of it inevitably with the development of social economy.
