随着现代教育体系的不断改革和完善,现代教育体系愈来愈显现出它独有的魅力,教育宗旨是实现教育现代化、形成学习型社会、构建体系完备的终身教育体系和现代国民教育体系。现代国民教育体系与终身教育体系有一定的差异性,普通教育、职业教育、高等教育、远程教育、成人教育和自我教育等都是构成现代国民教育体系的核心要素。它们相互之间的交叉重叠关系说明教育体系是一个复杂的巨系统,教育要素之间的复杂结构揭示了现代国民教育体系在除处理好普通教育和职业教育之间关系之外,也要重视由成人教育、远程教育、民办教育和自我教育等形成的新教育体系。

Constant reforms and improvements have brought about unique charms to the modern educational system. The purpose of education is realize the educational modernization, form a learning society, construct a life-long modern education system by 2020 and further promote the whole people to study what they have been taught, use what they have achieved and learn what they will use. Differences exist between the modern national education system and the life-long education system. Such educational forms as general-purpose education, vocational education, higher education, long-distance education, adult education and self-taught education all act as core factors that constitute the modern national education system. They so overlap with each other as to show the facts that an educational system is a huge complicated one. Moreover, the complicated relationship between various educational factors reveals that the modern national education system should not only handle the relationship between general-purpose education and vocational education but also attach importance to such new educational systems as adult education, long-distance education, privately-run education, self-taught education, etc
