Different from the key disciplines chosen by Ministry of Education and Ministry of Science and Techonology, also different from 863 and 973, the purpose of national clinical key disciplines is to solve the medical difficulties and problems. As one of the most important strategies in health system, it is not only concerned about the capacity and development of health delivery system, but also about the cultivation and allocation of national health resources, the promotion of hospitals’ core competitiveness.
